Delivery & Shipping
General: All orders for the Art of Gilly Johns are shipped using Royal Mail’s ‘Recorded Delivery’ service meaning that they require a signature upon receipt no matter where addressed to. The only exception to this is any order for an original piece of art, most of which are framed and therefore require special shipping arrangements.
Packaging: Prints are normally packed in cardboard postal tubes for the best protection in the post.
Global Delivery Zones: Not every country in the world is programmed in to the administrative side of this online gallery which means that shipping costs may not be calculated and an order not be possible on that basis. If you reside in one of those unlisted countries and wish to purchase from Gilly’s online gallery please use the ‘Contact Us’ link and mutually acceptable arrangements will be arranged.
Currently the countries within the gallery’s shipping configuration (by zone) are:
United Kingdom Only – England, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland

Shipping Costs: These are shown in the shopping cart following the placing of a print in it. If, as already stated, your country is not featured, please contact us. The shipping costs include packaging material and postage based upon rates currently set by Royal Mail at the time of an order, these are in turn calculated by zone/country and number of prints purchased. Original paintings are not subject to these costs and will be separately arranged with the buyer of the original. UK Royal Mail charges normally are reviewed/increased annually in April.
Damaged in Post or Returns: In either case purchasers should notify us by email/using the ‘Contact Us’ form to provide details of any damage in transit or their wish to return an item. This must be within 7 days of receipt of the order at your registered address. The costs of returns is the responsibility of the purchaser whilst damaged goods’ return costs will be borne by the seller under United Kingdom Distance Selling Regulations.
